Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ? Mirror of Fate to platformówka osadzona w tym samym uniwersum, co wydane w 2010 roku na Xboksa 360 i PlayStation 3 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Opracowaniem gry zajęło się studio Mercury Steam.
Akcja gry rozpoczyna się 25 lat po wydarzeniach z Lords of Shadow. Dracula chce zgotować ludzkości prawdziwe piekło i powstrzymać go może jedynie młody łowca wampirów - Trevor Belmont. W późniejszych fragmentach kampanii otrzymujemy też okazję pokierowania jego synem, czyli SimonemupMoza Belmontem. W grze znajdziemy jeszcze dwie dodatkowe grywalne postaci. Każdy z czwórki wojowników posiada własne umiejętności specjalne, które w istotny sposób wpływają na rozgrywkę. Przykładowo, tylko niektórzy bohaterowie potrafią wykonać podwójny skok, zaś pozostali podczas przemierzania poziomów zmuszeni są często do szukania alternatywnych dróg do celu.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ? Mirror of Fate oferuje w pełni trójwymiarową grafikę, choć przez większość czasu poruszamy się w dwóch wymiarach. Nacisk położony został głównie na swobodną eksplorację rozległego świata, a walka odgrywa rolę drugorzędną. Nie oznacza to jednak, że twórcy potraktowali system potyczek po macoszemu. Simon uzbrojonyupMoza jest w doskonale znany fanom serii bicz, podczas gdy Trevor dzierży krzyż bojowy. Podczas starć korzystamy też z kilku rodzajów ciosów oraz obszernego ekwipunku, w którym znajdują się mi.in. elektryczne bomby. Nie zabrakło też możliwości wykonywania uników i chwytania wrogów. Ponadto starszy z Belmontów potrafi władać magią. Jego syn korzysta z różnych gadżetów, jak np. słoje z łatwopalnym olejem.

Castlevania : Lords of Shadow? Mirror of Fate is a platformer set in the same universe , which released in 2010 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Castlevania : Lords of Shadow . Development of the game took a studio Mercury Steam .
The story begins 25 years after the events of Lords of Shadow . Dracula wants to concoct a hell of humanity and can only keep him young vampire hunter - Trevor Belmont .
