Dr. James Garrow, PhD. is a Canadian teacher, businessman and ex-CIA operative. In 1968 he founded the Bethune Institute, the legendary language schools in the People’s Republic of China named for the Canadian thoracic surgeon, Dr. Norman Bethune.

He runs Pink Pagoda Girls, an organization that rescues young girls from death and abortion in China.
