Release Title: Captain Pugwash - [1974-75](A UKB-KvCD Classic By BINGOWINGZ)
Release / TV Air Date: 1974 Genre: Comedy / Classic Cartoons RunTime: 2 Hours 17 Minutes Captain Pugwash is a fictional pirate in a series of British children's comic strips and books created by John Ryan. The character's adventures were adapted into an animated TV series, also called Captain Pugwash, first shown on the BBC in 1957. The eponymous hero – Captain Horatio Pugwash – sails the high seas in his ship called the Black Pig, ably assisted by cabin boy Tom, pirates Willy and Barnabas, and Master Mate. His mortal enemy is Cut-Throat Jake, captain of the Flying Dustman. ‘Captain Pugwash was a pirate. He thought himself the bravest, most handsome pirate on the seven seas…’ And so begins the Captain’s first rollicking adventure. There’s nothing more likely to prompt our portly hero into action than the prospect of treasure. So when the valiant cabin boy, Tom, espies a mound of ‘yellow stuff’ aboard a nearby ship, the Captain sets off in hot pursuit. Unfortunately, his villainous arch enemy, the horrible Cut- throat Jake, is not far away. Will the Captain be trapped by Jake’s dastardly plan? Or will Tom, the wisest little cabin boy on the Seven Seas, have a plan of his own…? "Ahoy there me hearties! This treasure trove contains ALL 30 heroic high sea adventures from the classic 70s TV series." 1974 ==== Down the Hatch Monster Ahoy Mouse Amidships The Show Boat Pirate Picnic Flood Tide Fish Meal Mutiny on the Black Pig A Shot Across the Bows The Great Bank Robbery Wedding Bells Diamonds on Ice Stung The Birthday Cake The Riddle of the Rubies Six Foot Deep The Cannon Ball Witches' Brew 1975 ==== The Golden Trail Pirate of the Year Easy Money The Plank Voyage of Discovery Fair Exchange Smugglers' Cove The Flying Buccaneer The Island of the Dodos Caught in the Act A Tell-Tale Tail Off With His Head IPB Image Source: DVD/PAL Video: MPEG1/PAL/352x288/25fps Audio: 44.1kHz/128kbps/Stereo Size Of BiN File: 802 Mb Sample Included: pirate4.gif How to watch a UKB KVCD: If you wish to View on your PC then use a media player called VLC IPB Image which supports Cue and Bin format movies, but be warned, this and Windows Media Player have been known to show incorrect movie runtimes i.e. 37 minutes when the movie is actually 2 hours long. You can download the VLC media player from www.videolan.org but it's NOT recommended to view KVCD's on your PC as they're specifically encoded to view on your standalone DVD Player and TV. If you are planning on watching on your PC then please don't moan about quality as you have been warned. If you wanted to watch on you PC then you've downloaded the wrong release, You want a DIVX or XVID version so I'll say it one more time, don't moan about quality as you have been warned. To burn to disc using Nero just right click on the cue file which will be the smallest of the 2 then choose Open With and browse to your Nero.exe (possibly just called Nero) file. (Located in Program Files / Ahead / Nero folder) Ensure the *Always use the selected program to open this type of file* box is ticked, this way next time all you have to do is double click the cue file and the burning interface will open, now choose which speed you would like to burn your disc at. It's recommended to burn at no more than 8x, Or 10x if you burn at a faster speed this may impair the quality and make the video pixelated.
