This film is based on real documents and facts that are no longer secret. The greater part of the CIA’s intrigues and crimes have still to be revealed. The film remains best known for a very graphic, unpleasant mid section, in which we are treated to a catalogue of CIA advocated torture techniques.

The sort of film Oliver Stone would grin from ear to ear over, C.I.A. Secret Story is an hour and forty-two minutes of Communist propaganda and conspiracy theories covering major events of the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.
