it's often quite tricky for most (myself included) to determine styles of production on Bvdub releases.. and of course, i'm more than familiar with Mr Brock Van Wey's complete discography to date.. he's a very very clever, adventurous and tasteful producer, to say the least..

concerning this particular new album, there are no forms or styles of techno to be found here, including any forms or styles of dub techno..

there are at least 7 distinctly different atmospheric breakbeat patterns employed over the 4 tracks (including one that's heavily flirting with Trip Hop on track 2), some of which also have IDM elements intricately combined with them, which are all woven into Epic style production frameworks.

also, since everything on this album has been constructed with purposeful form, function and flow, there's no need to classify any of the tracks under Experimental; however, it is also true to say that the entire album is Experimental since the overall sound that is presented here is something that is rarely imagined by any electronic producer/s.
