Strong crime drama with equally strong cast. Police detective Edward G. Robinson pretends he's been kicked off the force so he can infiltrate a city wide crime syndicate led by Barton MacLane. Also in the cast are: Humphrey Bogart, Joan Blondell, Joe King and Frank McHugh. My favorite scene is the shoot out between Robinson and Bogart. William Keighley directs this rough and tough black and white gangster flick. Almost as many bullets as bad guys.

This is a TV rip and not to DVD. Poor quality. The video is very fuzzy, not at all sharp and the aspect ratio is slightly off. A much better copy, DVD quality, was found on the Pirate Bay and it even downloaded in half the time. Thanks all the same to the uploader for his efforts!
