"Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Radio Sunnydale" è il secondo album tratto dalla colonna sonora del telefilm omonimo, preceduto da "Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Album".
Radio Sunnydale si concentra principalmente sulle ultime stagioni di Buffy (dalla quinta alla settima), anche se sono incluse alcune tracce anche delle precedenti stagioni, come "Dead Guys With Bombs" di Cristophe Beck, tratta dall'episodio della terza stagione "The Zeppo".
E' stato pubblicato in coincidenza con la fine dello show, nell'autunno del 2003.
Forse l'aspetto più sorprendente del disco è che ne sono state prodotte due versioni radicalmente differenti, una per gli Stati Uniti e una per il Regno Unito. La versione USA è caratterizzata da appena dodici tracce, mentre la versione UK ha rimosso i brani di Joey Ramone, Sarah McLachlan e Blur, ma ha aggiunto altre dodici tracce, per un totale di 21 brani. I rilasci in Australia e America Latina coincidono con la versione UK.
