Pigs on trampolines? Dancing horses? A regurgitator? It's amazing what some people in this country think passes for talent. But, alongside the Susan Boyle-wannabes, dancers and opera singers, these are some of the acts we can look forward to in the coming weeks. We know the score by now. For the next month or so there are auditions in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, as well as a live audience (known as the fourth judge). There'll be tears from Holden every time a cute tot sings and there'll be sighs of exasperation from Cowell every time Morgan puts through an old geezer doing the soft shoe shuffle. Forty acts will qualify for the live shows and eventually we'll get to vote for our favourite. Once again Ant and Dec are in the wings, and Stephen Mulhern is presenting ITV2's companion show Britain's Got More Talent. Of course it's easy to sneer, but nearly 19 million of us were glued to the final last year.
