Sinopsis;

Terry McCaleb è un attempato detective dell'FBI: un pericoloso serial killer lo sfida lasciando messaggi. In un inseguimento col suo nemico Mcaleb sviene e, quando si sveglia, scopre di aver subito un trapianto di cuore e che l'organo è appartenuto ad una donna uccisa da un serial killer. Mcaleb indagherà sul caso e si troverà a dover affrontare proprio il suo vecchio nemico: Il killer del codice.
