"Crazy Train"-Ozzfest 2010 "War Pigs"-Ozzfest 2005 "See You On The Other Side" (Video) I had several Black Sabbath and Ozzy Live in Concert Encodes so I decided to do my own Ozzfest. /;?} Fair Warning, These are my personal stock and most are not 720p, however for Sabbath Fans they are very nostalgic and a great vision into the growth of Black Sabbath and Ozzy from 1970 to 2010, a 40 year history tour of Black Sabbath/Ozzy right here! --"N.I.B." is dark yet original Live Concert Video as you can see the camera man in the Video, very old video, the Band looks very young in this Concert. --"Paranoid" is Black and White Live Video very old, the group looks very young! --"Snow Blind" is good quality 1973ish Live in Concert, with very bright Stage Lighting as at that time period LSD was very popular (Ozzy stated they used it extensively early in the Bands history while they were playing at San Francisco's Filmore Club most nights) and most Bands used the Brightest stage lighting just for the fans on LSD. (Trust me on that one!) This is one of the very first Sabbath songs me and my Buddy listened to over and over and over in 1973. --"Crazy Train" is 720p and is very very Crazy!! --"War Pigs" is a tad blurry (in places) but very Crazy Concert (Ozzfest 2005) as well. --"See You On The Other Side" is a Music Video a tad blurry but one of my favorite songs so I included it just because I could. :) If you like these you might try dnldng my Metallica/Ozzy Video at the 2009 Metallica Hall of Fame Concert, 720p High Quality and very very GREAT concert footage!! oh, never mind...I included it.... Mi Casa Su Casa {dd53787} Black Sabbath: Following the break-up of their previous band Mythology in 1968, guitarist Tony Iommi and drummer Bill Ward sought to form a heavy blues rock band in Aston, Birmingham. They enlisted bassist Geezer Butler and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, who had played together in a band called Rare Breed, Osbourne having placed an advertisement in a local music shop: "Ozzy Zig Needs Gig – has own PA". the band changed their name to Earth (which Osbourne hated) and continued as a four-piece. While playing shows in England in 1969, the band discovered they were being mistaken for another English group named Earth. They decided to change their name again. A cinema across the street from the band's rehearsal room was showing the 1963 Mario Bava horror film Black Sabbath starring Boris Karloff. While watching people line up to see the film, Butler noted that it was "strange that people spend so much money to see scary movies." Following that, Osbourne and Butler wrote the lyrics for a song called "Black Sabbath", which was inspired by the work of horror and adventure-story writer Dennis Wheatley, along with a vision that Butler had of a black silhouetted figure standing at the foot of his bed. Making use of the musical tritone, also known as "The Devil's Interval", the song's ominous sound and dark lyrics pushed the band in a darker direction, a stark contrast to the popular music of the late 1960s, which was dominated by flower power, folk music, and hippie culture. Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford has called the track "probably the most evil song ever written". Inspired by the new sound, the band changed their name to Black Sabbath in August 1969, and made the decision to focus on writing similar material, in an attempt to create the musical equivalent of horror films. Ozzfest is an annual festival tour of the United States and sometimes Europe (and for the first time Japan in 2013) featuring performances by many heavy metal and hard rock musical groups. It was founded by Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon Osbourne, both of whom also organise each yearly tour with their son Jack Osbourne. The Ozzfest tour has featured bands of a variety of genres within heavy metal and hard rock, including alternative metal, thrash metal, industrial metal, metalcore, hardcore punk, deathcore, nu metal, death metal, post-hardcore, gothic metal and black metal.
