Trama del film Benvenuto Presidente!:

In un piccolo paesino di montagna vive un uomo dal nome impegnativo: Giuseppe Garibaldi, per tutti Peppino. Ama la pesca, la compagnia
degli amici, la biblioteca in cui lavora da precario. E' un ottimista anche se il figlio che lo accusa d'essere un fallito. Un giorno,
a causa di un pasticcio dei politici, accade una cosa incredibile: Peppino viene eletto per errore Presidente della Repubblica Italiana.
Strappato alla sua vita tranquilla, si trova a ricoprire un ruolo per il quale sa di essere evidentemente inadeguato, ma il suo buonsenso
e i suoi gesti istintivi risultano incredibilmente efficaci. Certo il protocollo non è il suo forte. Janis Clementi, inflessibile quanto
affascinante vice segretario generale della Presidenza della Repubblica, si affanna inutilmente nel tentativo di disciplinare le imprevedibili iniziative del Presidente...
