Na een uitglijder is het gedaan met de reputatie van lobbyist Paul. Zijn carrière in Washington lijkt
ten einde, maar Paul is vastbesloten om met behulp van manipulatieve politieke spelletjes zijn weg
terug naar de top te vinden. Een seksschandaal rondom een senator is daarbij precies wat hij nodig
heeft.

A film about the behind-the-scenes world of Washington politics. A former staffer that has fallen
from grace tries to get back in the political game but realizes "there is life above the beltway."
