Beethoven - V Con - H Rosbaud, German SW RSO, G Neveu, v (1949) [Philidor; FLAC]

Ginette Neveu was a remarkable violinist was came on the international scene in the 1940s. She had everything: technique to burn, fine musical instincts, excellent analytic skills, and a fiery temperament that dug into the music as though to hang on for life, itself. A plane crash in 1949 killed both Neveu and her brother, who was her piano accompaniment. She wasn't 30 at the time.

This excellent recording of the Beethoven Violin Concerto was last uploaded six years ago. Judging from remarks, it no works. Given the quality of the performance, it seemed a good time to make it available once more.
