About the film:
Feature film "Battlestar Galactica: The Blade" tells the story of the ship "Pegasus" to meet with "Galactica." This film is not a part of any season of the main series. The film takes place during the first Cylon War, where the future captain of "Galaxy" reveals a dangerous Cylon weapon during the first few weeks after the attack on the colonies, where the captain of "Pegasus" have to take drastic measures to save the ship and crew, as well as during mission to destroy the weapons found Adama 40 years ago, and his son, Lee, eight months after the attack on the colony.
