Batman Arkham Knight leaked beta update 09-02-15 (patch only-- no crack)

This is the leaked patch for PC steam users of Batman Arkham Knight. It was released for 3 hours on Steam and then quickly pulled on Sept. 2, 2015. While the game is currently not sold on Steam, the people who bought the game before it was pulled still have access to it. This patch sports frame rate improvements and more in game graphics tweaks. The screenshot provided is the new Display Options menu for proof. Many have reported performance improvements with this beta patch. This patch is intended for people who own the game-- a crack is not included. Do not use this for other non-Steam releases-- you may bork the game. Do backups of all the files you replace before you do this!

Directions:

Step 1: Download Patch
Step 2: Extract to folder
Step 3: Copy to Arkham Knight directory -- it is highly recommended you make a backup of all the files you replace in case something goes wrong.
Step 4: Replace any files
Step 5: Go to BMGameConfig and DELETE BmEngine and BmSystemSettings and Launch. If you have DLC you may need to delete these same files in the DLC folder. For example, ...steamappscommonBatman Arkham KnightDLC356474ContentBmGameConfig

As a sidenote, if you're a legit purchaser of the game you may want to disable auto-updates on Steam temporarily when playing the game.
