Description
Important Note: On Tuesday May 3rd 1994 this program was scheduled to air on the Discovery Channel. Influential members of the congress applied pressure to the cable industry to stop the airing of the program and destroy ALL COPIES. It was already listed nationwide in the April 30th - May 6th edition of TV Guide and newspaper supplements. The Discovery Channel and Yorkshire Television were reimbursed for the 1/4 to 1/2 MILLION dollars production costs. THIS IS THE PROGRAM THEY DIDN'T WANT YOU TO SEE. This tape was sent anonymously to Nebraska Attorney John DeCamp one year after all copies were supposedly destroyed! Summary: Conspiracy of Silence is a 56-minute unreleased documentary film produced by Yorkshire Television in 1994. The subject of the film is an alleged child sexual abuse ring involving a number of prominent Nebraska persons, including Lawrence King, an Omaha banker, political fundraiser, and convicted felon. The documentary was scheduled for broadcast in the United States on cable outlet Discovery Channel on May 3, 1994. However, it was never aired. Proponents of the film claim that it was withdrawn due to political pressure; neither Yorkshire Television nor Discovery Channel commented officially on why it was not aired. Related Torrents
