Description
B4A (formerly Basic4Android) is a Windows PC based solution for developing Android apps. This is the full version and includes many libraries to extend the language and functions. It includes help and documentation.
B4A runs on your desktop (WinALL) and uses the free Java JDK software to emulate an Android device through which you can test your creations. You may also attach a real Android phone or tablet. You write your Android app in a structured language similar to Visual Basic and use additional function libraries to extend language and allow you to create apps that control an Android device in any way you can imagine. Once the app is ready for testing on the virtual or physical android device you 'attached' to the computer B4A packages it up in a standard '.apk' installation file and installs it to the device where you can run it as you would any other android app. It uses a debug mode to help you fix bugs and improve your code. The interface uses a wysiwyg visual method for creating the graphical side of the app. You can add objects like buttons, text boxes and any other Android objects you see in apps to the 'screen' and drag them to size. You then create the code behind them in the normal programmer's interface. B4A is 'object-oriented' so all code revolves around the objects you wish to use in your app, making app creation simple. This is the full version of B4A and includes a large set of function Libraries and help documentation. Follow the instructions to install B4A. 1. OPEN THE B4A 5.20 FULL VERSION FOLDER... 2. Install program but DO NOT ALLOW B4A TO START when install finishes!! 3. Copy licencing program: "B4A_Licence_Generator.exe" in to the B4A install directory. eg: c:/program files/anywhere software/basic4android/ Note: The generator program is in the 'Licence Generator' folder. 4. run Licence Generator'As Administrator'... 5. Generate license with any e-mail (a fake email works but write it down for the next step). 6. Run B4A app and enter this e-mail into licencing box, when asked. 7. B4A 5.20 is now licenced.
