The sound and vision is HQ. Taratata was always first rate.

The interviewer Nagui is his usual charming and exuberant self. The audience is in all ways more than pumped up.

Girlfriend is what it is : Avril's signature song. Here she and her band writ it large.

The interview is sweet fun. Avril answers thoughtfully, smiles sweetly and can't help but give damn good face.

Next up is the big surprise: A very rare cover of Blink 182's, All The Small Things.

The lighting is especially brilliant. How lit-up Avril looks with her blond hair and fair skin in that bright yellow top. A blissful vision and an inspired performance combine to blow the mind.

A favorite moment is just before ATSM: Avril is at the microphone, with elbows-out, hands-on-hips and legs-open. She looks over at her backup singers and there is Lindsay, mimicking her. So Avril turns to face her and her stance becomes even more pronounced. The other backup-singer Sofi then joins in with Lindsay, so all three are in a similar pose. Avril stares down her singers and they back at her. Avril then is more than ready to bring it, as she turns her stance towards the audience, and from there she goes off.

I just love Lindsay and Sofi. And Avril even more when she was with them.

Later on in the show during the credits, her back-up singers play patty-cake, clapping hands theirs together with hers, just to get her going. And so she does.

I just love the way Avril looks so damn hot back then and here. She had reached 22 and is just too too much. On Taratata she looks so sharp. Never mind in those striped shoes. Best pair I ever saw her wear. Can't help but get high off her high-heels.
