AutoSaver is a free portable tool that saves the file on which you are working after an interval of time that you can set. It works on all apps that support the hotkey CTRL + S.

This is a freeware program now. It was a pain-in-the-assware program before I got hold of it. The program itself is free of any annoyances but the freaking INSTALLER is the adware/spyware/change-your-system-without-permission-ware pain-in-the-ass.

I downloaded it from their site, ran the installer (letting my anti-malware programs protect me through the process) and wound up in the end with the actual clean executable.

I've supplied the URL so that you can see the details of the program. However, if you download the program from the site, you will be negating my efforts. Their download is an abomination. I have helped you bypass that with this final sterile copy.
