Pedro Kóminik studied method acting with the support of institutions such as the ITESM from 1981 to '86 and WMHS at the University of New Mexico in the United States, from '86 to '88, under the direction of Dr. William Dannenberg. Finished a Degree in Acting at the School of Theatre Arts INBA in Mexico City in 1993, he conducts various graduate studies in production and show management, costume design, lighting and characterization. He began his training as a singer with vocal technique with Kayoko Kodachi and Antonio Cortes Araóz. He continues his improvement as a light tenor/countertenor with Emilio Perez Casas.

His work has staged more than 50 theater productions, opera and cabaret in the most important forums in Mexico, as well as long periods as actor and host on national television, radio and film. He has done outstanding work as stage director in all these ways, and his work as art director and designer has been awarded several times.

"Así" Is a range of playful songs sometimes emotional, it creates the celebration of Pedro Kóminik's life. The recordings of Pedro Kóminik have become key titles within the scene of alternative music in Mexico, whose repertoire contains iconic songs from the 30's and 40's in France, Germany, United States and Latin America as well as popular music from early 1900. As a musician, he is recognized for having achieved an eclectic fusion sailing between jazz, classical music, and cabaret, creating a very personal sound with an ethereal and delicate voice, along with the Youth Orchestra from the Autonomous University of Mexico State.
