Well, "Anonymous" (if that is your REAL name ;)
You seem to be in a minority of one so far (most give 9/9 or better).\n
Arrow does indeed have a lot of high detail fast action and XVID does what it can.\n
But "pixelate" is the incorrect term.\n
What XVID does is resort to larger block sizes to compensate for too much\n
data in too small a stream. The best example is in my encode of Arrow.S01E03\n
Look at 23:24, 38:18 & 40:26 to see what I mean.\n
Takes a good eye to notice this, so congrats on that. But 6 seems a bit harsh.\n

Oh, the bane of spending a Saturday lazily looking over old comments. Further osmotic wafts of information gives a better understanding of the aformentioned fast-speed-high-action scenes. It's due to AVC's single pass encoding actually. The inability to look ahead to resolve these chunks is what's responsible. Which is one reason (among others) why I've reverted to 2pass encoding. Gives a better visual experience when the package is more meticulously constructed.
