Conscio del fatto che i rivoluzionari iraniani ben presto potrebbero rintracciare e uccidere i fuggitivi, il governo statunitense (in collaborazione con le autorità canadesi) incarica l'agente della CIA Tony Mendez, esperto di operazioni sotto copertura, di organizzare un piano di liberazione. With few options, exfiltration expert Tony Mendez devised a daring plan: create a phony Canadian film project looking to shoot in Iran and smuggle the Americans out as its production crew.
