La serie Gothic cambia pelle in questa nuova avventura targata Spellbound. Oltre al nome del gioco cambierà anche il protagonista che, come il suo predecessore, non avrà un un nome. In Arcania il vecchio eroe sarà diventato re del regno di Myrtana diventando malvagio. Cosa farà il nuovo eroe? Lo appoggerà o lo fronteggerà? Lo aiuterà o cercherà di mettergli i bastoni tra le ruote? Questo spetta a noi deciderlo e a seconda della strada scelta, la storia cambierà drasticamente. Cosa hai deciso? Diventerai un salvatore o un distruttore?
La guerra ricopre le isole del Sud come un velo insanguinato... e ha infine raggiunto l'idilliaca isola di Feshyr, nei mari del Sud. Il protagonista di "Arcania: Gothic 4" ritorna da un'avventura per trovare la sua città devastata e saccheggiata. Le navi degli aggressori, con la figura di un'aquila sulle vele rigonfie, stanno svanendo all'orizzonte.
L'eroe lascia la città distrutta (aiutato da Diego) dietro di sé in cerca di vendetta, ma presto capisce che questo attacco codardo non è stato un capriccio di mercenari senza scrupoli. Qualcosa di malvagio attende ai limiti di questo mondo, ed il nostro eroe deve affrontarlo. Ma non è da solo: il suo destino è legato a quello di una splendida e misteriosa ragazza, oltre che ad un potente artefatto risalente ad un passato ormai dimenticato, che giocherà un ruolo fondamentale in questa nuova grandiosa avventura.

Installazione:
1. Scollegatevi da internet.
2. Monta o masterizza il file immagine rld-arg4.iso.
3. Installate il gioco.
4. scompattate il file cr**k.zip, copiate il contenuto della cartella crack e incollatelo nella directory di installazione del gioco sovrascrivendo quando richiesto.
opzionale:
5. Andate nella cartella update 2 ed eseguite il file Arcania.Gothic.4.Patch.2 (il punto 4. và comunque fatto altrimenti l'update non parte).
6. Scompattate il file update 2/cr**k.zip, copiate il contenuto della cartella crack e incollatelo nella directory di installazione del gioco sovrascrivendo quando richiesto.
Non aggiornate il gioco da internet.
Ora potete giocare e riconnettervi a internet.
Installation:
1. Log out from the Internet.
2. Mount or burn the image file rld-arg4.iso.
3. Install the game.
4. crack.zip unzip the file, copy the contents of crack folder and paste it into the game's installation directory, overwriting when prompted.
Optional:
5. Go to the folder update 2 and run the file rcania.Gothic.4.Patch.2 (point 4. goes anyway because otherwise the update will not start).
6. crack.zip unzip the file, copy the contents of the folder crack and paste it into the game's installation directory, overwriting when prompted.
Do not update the game from the Internet.
Now you can play and reconnect to the Internet
