ANSYS Inc. has released version 16.1 of its ANSYS portfolio of engineering simulation solutions. Version 16.1 marks the debut of the ANSYS Enterprise Cloud solution for enterprise simulation on the cloud. ANSYS Enterprise Cloud, says the company, enables users to deploy consistent, enterprise-specific simulation workflows and data to more engineers, regardless of geographic location or business unit. In addition, the ANSYS DesignXplorer application for parametric analyses, the ANSYS AIM integrated multiphysics simulation environment and the ANSYS RedHawk sign-off platform for system-aware SoC (system on a chip) power, noise and reliability simulation also see major enhancements.

ANSYS Enterprise Cloud leverages the full ANSYS portfolio of simulation software. By allowing more engineers to access the analysis software as well as the hardware they need, Enterprise Cloud can enable a broader adoption of simulation technologies and help organizations stay competitive while focusing on their core competencies. The company adds that the ANSYS Enterprise Cloud can be deployed within days, which can minimize risks while boosting productivity.
