Description

This is the complete collection of American Woodworker magazines from the very first issue through Feb/March 2014, although I will add one large caveat. I have not verified that every issue is exactly what it purports to be, i.e., outside of the first 15 or so (as of this writing) issues, I have not verified that there are not repeated issues or another magazine posing as an issue of AWW, but I do have high confidence that the collection is complete as I did a quick check of every 10th or 15th issue and everyone has been what it says it should be. AWW has two issue numbering systems, the original system consisted of a Volume number and Issue number, each volume represents a year's worth of issues. Those early issues are named consistently with that system. After Volume 4, AWW transitioned to a new numbering system, although the first year of the new numbering system has "Volume V" on the magazine covers, the following year the volume # was removed. Because of these two numbering systems there are issue numbering inconsistencies: 1) It appears that issues 007 through 011 are missing, however, due to AWW's own issue numbering peculiarities, those issues were technically never published, and the file names from issue "#001" through "#170" are consistent with AWW's current numbering system on the magazine covers. 2) You will not notice the inconsistency until you read the magazines, but even though all the issues in AWW Volume 4 have stated that the magazine is published 6 times a year, there are only 5 issues that year. Unless, and it is highly unlikely that this happened, they did publish a Jan/Feb issue that year then the March/April "Volume 4, Issue 1" was a typo that was carried through the rest of the issues. Regardless, all issues are accounted for, given the large caveat I mentioned at the beginning. This is a consolidation of several torrents, I am not the originator of any of this material, so while I can't help with any problems you might find with this material, I am interested in knowing if there is a problem, such as a duplicated issue, or an issue that was scanned so poorly that it is useless (though I hope to find those kinds of problems as soon as I finish going through all the issues which should be in a few days as of this writing). I am uncertain if any of this material originated from the publisher's electronic back issue offerings (with the exception of the 2012 issues). In addition to the magazine issues, I have included some books that interested me, from AWW's publisher as well as the ISO for the 2012 back issues CD.

Confirmed: All issues are there, not perfect, but there. There are only a handful that I have concerns may have had some WW'ing content actually removed, but most have the full pages of ads removed with the WW'ing content left intact.
