Allen - Lande - The Great Divide mp3 (2014)

Allen/Lande (or Allen-Lande) is a melodic rock/heavy metal supergroup/band project formed in 2005 by guitarist Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear, Starbreaker) with two highly acclaimed metal vocalists: Symphony X vocalist Russell Allen and former Masterplan vocalist Jørn Lande. The songs, all written by Karlsson, feature a variety of hard rock and heavy metal songs with a progressive metal touch.

On March 2013, Jørn Lande announced in an interview that a new Allen/Lande album was in the works but this time with songwriting and production made by former Stratovarius guitarist Timo Tolkki, replacing Magnus Karlsson. On 24 July 2013, Timo Tolkki also confirmed the role in the project via his Facebook page. The album was officially comfirmed on July 9, 2014, with the title The Great Divide. It will be released on October 17 in Europe and October 21 2014 in North America. This time, Lande has also contributed with some vocal melodies and lyrics to the album.

About Russell Allen:

Russell Allen (born July 19, 1971 in Long Beach, California) is a singer best known as the vocalist of American progressive metal band Symphony X.

He is also a member of supergroups Star One (in which he is credited as Sir Russell Allen), Allen-Lande and most recently formed the band Adrenaline Mob.

About Jørn Lande:

Jørn Lande (born May 31, 1968), is a Norwegian heavy metal singer who has sold over seven million records worldwide. He is known for being the former vocalist of bands Masterplan, Ark, Beyond Twilight, Millenium, Vagabond, and The Snakes, as well as for his successful solo career as Jorn.
