I was able to watch the first hour of this film last night and it was phenomenal... from what I've seen, it would not have been out of place were it up for best picture last year at the Oscars.
Cranston is amazing... and it really makes me think that if he hadn't lucked out and got Breaking Bad, he'd probably be stuck working as a sitcom Dad/Grandfather for the rest of his life... makes you wonder how many great actors are typecast and stuck playing roles which are way below their actual abilities.
