It didnt work on Photoshop CS6

Can someone give me a 'hand', please! I've tried no less than 6 downloads for the Alien Skin plug-ins with no success. I haven't tried this particular download yet and want to know how it worked out for those who have downloaded it previously. Did each program download easily AND were the instructions on registering/activating them clear? The last one I tried, the Xenofex & Image Doctor downloads were supposed to have the serials included, but didn't, and when I tried to install them, both ask for a serial BEFORE it even installs. To make matters worse, the instructions were horribly written and made absolutely no sense.
I would really appreciate someone helping me out with these plug-ins! I've looked everywhere for them because I have several memory quilts to make for Christmas and these will really help me out.\n
