Release Notes

Took the BD Region A release of Akira, encoded with 2-pass x264, trimmed the

black edges, applied a small degree of Warpsharp to clean the noise from the

original.

Worked the original 192Kbps stereo audio track from the R4 Madman DVD with

Audacity & eac3to. The goal was to get the hidef video and the original audio

dub to fit into 4G. It does, but I've also interleaved the 5.1 Pioneer audio

dub (recoded to 448 Kbps AC3-5.1 from the BD's trueHD track) as well, so the

file, as is, fits on a DVD-5 blank. The video and first audio stream will fit

on a 4G flash drive if rebuilt using mkvmerge.
