General remarks

Editor alternativo al Notepad
AkelPad è un software di editor di testo che racchiude tante funzionalità in poco spazio.
Può essere utilizzato in alternativa al classico e "magro" NotePad di Windows.
Una volta avviata l'installazione di AkelPad, ci verrà chiesto se desideriamo utilizzarlo al posto del Blocco Note di Windows, installarlo in maniera classica, oppure integrarlo nel software file manager "Total Commander".
L'elemento distintivo di AkelPad è la modularità: abbiamo a disposizione numerosi plug-in che possiamo lanciare dall'interno dell' editor stesso, questi ci permettono di personalizzare il programma a seconda delle esigenze così da avere a disposizione le funzioni più utili di volta in volta.
Le tante funzioni aggiuntive di AkelPad si attivano dalla finestra che compare cliccando su "opzioni" e poi su "Plug-ins".
Il programma offre ancora una comoda vista multi-finestra, è dotato di anteprima di stampa, può essere impostato con "a capo automatico" . A corredo ha ancora tanto, e sicuramente ognuno di noi troverà le funzioni più utili ai nostri testi.
Qualora il programma dovesse presentarsi in inglese, per tradurlo in italiano, basta andare sul menu "Views", scegliere "Languages" e cliccare su "italiano". Al riavvio successivo AxelPad si presenterà nella nostra lingua.
AkelPad è un editor di testo nato per essere più veloce e funzionale di Blocco note, con dimensioni contenute in poco più di mezzo MB. Apre più documenti all'interno dell'unica finestra di lavoro con accesso tramite clic su linguette. Si possono annullate più modifiche eseguite sul testo e non solo l'ultima. Al modulo base possono essere aggiunti uno o più plugin software, ognuno dei quali destinato a risolvere un certo problema. Per esempio, uno attiva il salvataggio periodico automatico, un altro colora il codice di pagine HTML, un altro ancora visualizza i caratteri speciali come lo spazio e il fine paragrafo. Tutti insieme occupano solo 230 KB. Per utilizzarli, occorre attivarli nella finestra Opzioni, Plugins.
