SINOPSIS/SUMMARY
Bajo el mandato de un imperio tirano, Tatsumi, un joven espadachín, abandona su hogar para intentar salvar su pobre aldea. Así conoce a Akame, una asesina que ha sido criada desde niña por el Imperio y a la que le han lavado el cerebro. Akame es miembro de un grupo secreto de asesinos llamado “Night Raid” que usan armas especiales llamadas Teigu. Juntos, Tatsumi y los miembros de Night Raid, se enfrentarán al corrupto imperio.

Under the rule of a tyrannical empire, Tatsumi, a young swordsman, leaves his home to save his poverty stricken village. He meets a girl named Akame, an assassin who was bought, brainwashed and trained to kill by the Empire. Akame is a member of the secret assassin group called “Night Raid” who use special weapons called Teigu. Together, Tatsumi and the members of Night Raid confront the corrupt empire.
