Yeah, it's funny for ACI (which has a well deserved reputation for strictly fact based, definitive presentations) to be doing MH370. I mean if they were honest, it would just be a voiceover going: "we don't know what happened" over and over for 50 minutes. When they finally do find the wreckage this show could do a 2 hour special because it's probably the most notorious air disaster of the last 25 years. I have no doubt they will learn what happened eventually; they recently found that STENDEC plane in the Andes after like 50 years, and the 777 is a lot bigger. I guess the ratings temptation of doing a show on it even if just speculation was too much for them.

As much as I like the series, and this episode. It is a bit sad that most of the episode is just 'well it could be this, or this or this'. Then stopping on 'it was probably the captain who did it'. Seems very unfair on his family as there is no proof. As likely a theory as it might be, it's not nice to 'assume' that with no proof..

Well they did two episodes of Air France Flight 447 if i remember correctly(?). The first episode was made before black boxes were even found and second episode after the case was solved. But i might be wrong.

And this was a Special episode. Special episodes have never been very detailed on one specific case. They have usually been about many different cases, speculation, general information about aviation or something similar.
