Trama

After the Battle of New York, the world has changed. It now knows not only about the Avengers, but also the powerful menaces that require those superheroes and more to face them. La seconda stagione di Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. riparte dal pirotecnico e adrenalico finale di stagione della precedente. La diabolica Hydra sembra aver vinto la guerra ma il nuovo direttore dello S.H.I.E.L.D., l’agente Coulson (Clark Gregg), ha una missione cruciale: ricostruire l'Agenzia e arginare la minaccia dell'organizzazione criminale.
Ad affiancarlo una nuova squadra di agenti senza più Ward Grant (Brett Dalton), arrestato per tradimento. E nel frattempo l’oscuro passato di Skye (Chloe Bennet) incombe minaccioso ora che il suo misterioso padre ha scoperto che è viva.
Creata dal regista di The Avengers Joss Whedon e prodotta dai Marvel Studios, AoS ci porta nel Livello 7 dello S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division), l'agenzia spionistica e militare che, per combattere organizzazioni criminali e minacce aliene, si avvale delle tecnologie più all’avanguardia e dei migliori agenti in circolazione. Uomini e donne “normali” che indagano e combattono lo straordinario per proteggerci da una verità per cui non siamo ancora pronti: eroi sovraumani e mostri terrificanti sono tra noi.
