When you installed the Age of Empires II HD Edition, may be you'll get a messege from your antivirus soft. that there is a trojan horse in steam_api.dll. here is the solution. You must installed the game after disable your virus guard. then unrar the rar file and copy - paste all files to the game installed directory. then Enable your antivirus and scan game folder. steam_api.dll will be fixed.
