Personal take of the Content: Well, the Japanese culture shines through here. Lots of frazzle and dazzle... LOTS! Super "consistent" gameplay:
1) in place of the word "consistent" take your pick of the following; predictable, same old same old different packing, stale, monotonously tedious. A glorious 5 Generations of it in HUNDREDS of battles.
2)Fuzzy-Logic movement interface with "sticky fly-paper" type booby traps in the "Exploration" mode designed you get into lots of battles where... You guess it!!! Lots of frazzle and dazzle Eye Candy.
3) Multi-leveled, multi-pronged, multiplied, multi-webbed Enhancements, Alchemy and skill/spell acquisition mechanics. On completing the game, watch your MENSA and SAT ratings go UP!
4) Thoughtfully and strategically placed cut-scenes purposed for you to take a break to go grab a beer or make your cuppa & sandwich; every good warrior needs a break from the multitude of battles.
5) Get married FOUR times to FOUR different heroine. Where else on earth could you get THAT lucky?!!! More EYE CANDY after the wedding ceremony!
6) Picked up more vocabulary like Mizuchi, Shichishitou, Kamaitachi and the likes on top of your Kawasaki, Sushi, Karate, Arigato, Mitshubishi and Sashimi.
There is no doubt that this is a GEM cos JPRGs are few and far in between that is made available to netizens like you and I. Its certainly a keeper for keepsakes!!!
Oh.... and did I mention there are loads of Frazzling, Dazzling EYE CANDY???
