Description

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- -

- ABBYY FINEREADER 9.0724 PRO PORTABLE -

- -

- portable version created using ThinApp -

________________________________

FILENAMES:

- do NOT ever rename the file "_ABBYY ThinApp - do not rename.dat"

- this DAT is what contains all of the programs - the other files are just shorcuts.

- if the DAT file is renamed none of the programs will work until it's changed back.

- since the rest of the filenames are just shorcuts, you can edit them all you want.

________________________________

THE TEMP FOLDER AKA THE SANDBOX:

- do NOT delete the contents of the directory "temp folder(sandbox) - do not delete"

- this folder's contents retain any changes made to the portable program's settings.

- if you do accidentally delete this folder, it's ok because it will be regenerated.

- if the program ever stops working correctly then go and delete it or its contents.

- since deleting the folder or its contents will revert the program to its original

settings, if it is important to you to never have to reconfigure your settings, make

sure to periodically back up the folder to a zip file.

This worked on my Linux X64 version of Debian (Crunchbang) in wine. It also worked in a miniXP virtual machine on the same rig. Seems to work relatively well. Though haven't given it extensive testing. On first flush, it works in both contexts. Thanks for uploading.
Didn't work on x64.
doesn't work on win 7 64 either
