A Naifa is a musical Portuguese project, that mix the classical language of Fado with Pop.
An original sound,modern and at the same time deeply involved in the traditional Portuguese music, a combination that gives you an intimate atmosphere where the Portuguese identity is re enforced by their poems, all from Portuguese authors.
The band edited their first album in 2004, greatly acclaimed for the critics and the public.
In 2006, their second album gave them a great reconnaissance and, finally, in 2008 the band releases their third album. in 2009 the bass player died and the band release a DVD with a live concert and a book showing the Naifa universe.
The band continues with a new bass player and releases their lastest album "Nao se deitam Comigo Corações obedientes". This album reveals a new sound, sharper (Naifa in portuguese is slang for knife).
The return of the band was widely praised from all.
A new era has began.
