u need atleast 2gb graphics vram to run most of these (2k textures and other hd stuffs) so guys with 1gb better watch out cause i did download a huge mod file that needed 2gb

Building a new box and bought the box set with expansions. Can someone give me a rundown of what these are? Hit me up here if you have any info. Downloading it anyhow but would like some info.

These files MODify the game. Generally upgrading the textures to HD quality. Some mods add things like Dr. Who's TARDIS or more creatures. Mods can be anything that modifies the game in anyway. Skyrim can only handle 255 mods at most, so you will need TES5EDIT to merge these mods if you wish to use them all. Another program needed is either 'LOOT' or 'BOSS' to auto-arrange the files so their load order does not conflict.

It is recommended that you use Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) or Mod Organizer (MO) to help do the task of running your mods. I would suggest reading the following page in order to get help with doing this:

One other thing, when modding a game it is ALWAYS good to add one mod at a time and play the game for a few minutes as mods can crash-to-desktop (CTD) your game and it is helpful to know which one is the culprit.
