80’s Giga Hits Collection 1 – 32 (updated)



I originally downloaded this collection as a torrent, and discovered that the file I’d grabbed was missing Album #14 from the set! After trawling a few sites, I eventually located the “lost” album, and consolidated it with the other 31 albums that I’d previously downloaded.



Whilst playing these albums through Windows Media Player (I know!!.. You’re gonna tell me to switch to VLC Player, or whatever…), I noticed that there were several spelling mistakes, incorrect artist names (as they appeared on the original title releases) and, horror of horrors!!... The album artwork was either missing, or downright incorrect! This is when I set myself the task of correcting these errors (sounds like I suffer from OCD here, doesn’t it?? :D ), by stripping out the .id3 tags, and totally rebuilding each folder so that all the right info appears whenever I play my choons!!



This torrent “should” contain all the right info, but if you find that your own media player over-rides the .id3 tags as I have written it, then blame Gracenote (or whoever retags your mp3’s) for this!
