4.50 From Paddington - Agatha Christie

A dramatisation of this well known Agatha Christie story.

Two trains leaving Paddington momentarily run side by side. An elderly woman on one train looks across to the other train, when she sees a young woman on that train being strangled. The trains pull away from each other, but when the police search the scene, there is no sign of a body. She is told that she must have been mistaken, so the woman tells her friend Miss Marple.......

June Whitfield does an excellent job as Miss Marple in this standard Agatha Christie fayre, set in the usual country house.
