Each year, an estimated 200,000 people are reported missing in the UK alone. This series of films looks at the space

left behind when a loved one goes missing and the families that must find a way to carry on.

1. Patricia Duncan


Matthew's granny has been missing for nearly seven years, so he writes her a letter to send his love.

2. Nicola Payne


Nicola has been missing for 17 years. Her mother wonders what life might be like if she were with them.

3. Marcus Rigby


Marcus has been missing since 1995. His mother talks about the faith that's kept her going these last 14 years.

4. Sara Kershaw


61-year-old Sara has been missing since 2005. Her sons wonder what to do with the space left behind.




Note on the file size: these films are incredibly low motion. Therefore the codec

just doesn't need that many MBs to compress the file to the required dimensions, and so will discard the excess. So

whilst the specs might suggest that these files are undersized, they aren't as you will see when you watch.
