From 2015 in Australia V8 Supercars will be switching over to PayTV operator Foxtel as Primary Broadcaster with Channel 10 as the Free to Air Broadcast Partner. This means that NOT ALL races will be shown in Full on Free TV anymore. The only way to see all rounds over there anymore will be to Subscribe to Foxtel which will be at at cost of over $600 a year for the package with the V8s in it.
However
For 2015 there will be 6 Complete Races Races Broadcast on Free to Air TV on Channel 10. These will be the Street Series and the Endurance Series consisting of the Rounds:
- Adelaide (First Round)
- Townsville
- Sandown 500
- Bathurst 1000 (This is a certainty as this race is protected by Australias Anti Siphoning laws which means Foxtel May not have exclusive Access to it)
- Gold Coast
- Sydney Street Race (Final Round)
The Sprint Rounds will be shown on Channel 10 as 1 Hour Highlight Packages only.
We plan to Upload at least the Channel 10 Coverage next year.
We are undecided if we will be encoding and uploading the Foxtel telecasts If anyone out there has access to a Foxtel Sport Subscription with the Equipment to capture and encode the Foxtel Broadcasts for upload to torrent sites like this we would all be VERY GRATEFUL.
