Description
Jerry Goodman and Jan Hammer were largely responsible for the greatness of Mahavishnu Orchestra's BIRDS OF FIRE LP. Here Goodman plays not only his fiery amplified violin but some piercing, original guitar. Howard Levy is also a genius on his instrument (harmonica) but it is Goodman's presence that beckoned me to purchase this CD. Hard driving, but varied so you won't get a headache.
