Benny Golson (1929- xx) has written several durable standards. He co-led the venerable Jazztet with Art Farmer between 1960 and 1986. His tenor sound is distinctive. This CD is entitled UP JUMPED SPRING @ Wikipedia. Great player, great writer. One of my favorite musicians. At 86, I wish him well.......Dt

DDD means no A/D conversion was necessary to create the CD. We jazz lovers are used to crappy sound so it is a joy to get recordings by the old masters that weren't converted to digital with all the sonic issues that that processing entails.
