Some copies were pressed in 1974 with the title Anthology (on the cover) or Stevie Wonder's Anthology (on the labels), as it was part of Motown's Anthology series, but at Wonder's request, the release was withheld until late 1977, when the original pressings were distributed concurrently with new pressings bearing the revised title Looking Back. Some warnings about sound quality: 1. There are better masterings of many of these tracks out there; the tapes used for this LP are plagued with momentary dropouts, and some tracks have unusually dull EQ. 2. I did some auto declicking with extremely light settings, and I did manual declicking of fades and certain tracks which had been played more than others. I left behind some occasional clicks here and there, partly because of time constraints, and I also just didn't want to risk damaging the music (horns and harmonicas tend to get mangled by declicking tools, and this music is full of both).
