Webster English Young (1932-2003) recorded 2 albums as leader. FOR LADY

is the first and is the best example of his lyricism with the cornet. The tunes

were selected as a tribute to Billie Holiday. The quality of a record can often

be reasonably prejudged by the participating musicians. That is certainly true

of this LP.
