faced moving away from his family at such a young age.
Leonel Pontes, the current manager of Maritimo and a former mentor for Ronaldo,
gives us an insight into the mind of a young Ronaldo, who used to sneak off
the gym in the middle of the night in order to get ahead of the competition.
We see clips of Ronaldo's very first games as a professional for Sporting Lisbon
when he broke into the first-team and about how Arsene Wenger came close to signing
him before Manchester United made their move for £12 million in 2003.
