I Rhapsody of Fire sono un gruppo musicale power metal italiano, precedentemente conosciuto come Rhapsody, e come Thundercross agli esordi. Fortemente influenzato dalla musica classica barocca, dall'epic metal, dal folk, dal power metal e dal metal sinfonico. Di base la loro musica è ispirata principalmente dalle colonne sonore di film Hollywoodiani come Conan il barbaro e Il Signore degli Anelli, e dalle tematiche fantasy. Per questo motivo il gruppo decise in origine di definire la propria musica come Hollywood metal, e successivamente Film-score metal

Rhapsody of Fire (formerly known as Thundercross and, previously, Rhapsody) is an Italian symphonic power metal band led by Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli. Since forming in 1993, the band has released eight studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and a live DVD.

Emerald Sword Saga, Capitolo III: Dalle terre centrali appena superate, il guerriero sta tornando con la emerald sword. Tutti i cavalieri e i compagni si incontreranno vicino ad Ancelot, per la battaglia e per la gloria, ed Arwald combatterà con lui contro l’armata di Dargor. Il guerriero nel pieno della battaglia, con la lucente armatura e la spada, sguinzaglia l’ira e la incontrastata vittoria. Coi compagni attraversa lande innevate sbaragliando i nemici incauti. Raggiungono il villaggio dei nani, dove si concedono un meritato riposo: danze e musiche dei magici elfi al giunger della notte. Dargor è il sovrano delle terre d’ombra, adottato da Vankar: grande mago di Helm. Egli è ricco di orgoglio e potere, perciò non si arrenderà. Ancora tra alberi e laghi si viaggia, l’ira dei titani incombe, perciò tutti in guardia! Ma nessuno farà cadere Algalord, combatteranno contro i nemici, l’armata baciata dal tuono in cammino verso Hargor. Ma furon catturati dai demoni di Kron. Airin, la principessa viene torturata dinnanzi ai suoi occhi! Bisognava fuggire, ma era intrappolato, paragonato ad unicorno alato. Akron è il crudele che ha ucciso Airin, Arwald e tutti i prodi che lo hanno affrontato, il guerriero giura vendetta! Persino il tanto crudele Dargor non sopporta tale vista… il guerriero invoca ancora gli déi in suo aiuto: Arwald sciolto nell’acido, sciolse le sue catene come magia, quindi scappa veloce come il vento verso un fiume, e i demoni alla sua ricerca… ora la emerald sword nelle mani sbagliate causerà il caos! Amici del guerriero defunti, tutti pronti per la rivincita, cantano la sinfonia per il prode signore del fuoco…

Dawn of Victory is an album released by Rhapsody in 2000. Like the previous albums, it centers on the story of Algalord and the "Emerald Sword Saga". It has been produced and engineered by Sascha Paeth and Miro. It is also the first album to feature current drummer Alex Holzwarth.
