BØRNS - The Emotion

After much anticipation, new music from Mr. Garrett Borns, a.k.a BORNS, has been released. The brand new track, titled “The Emotion”, is the first single off of BØRNS’ debut album Dopamine, which is due on October 16th via Interscope Records. The song was first premiered on Apple Music’s Beats1 Radio with Zane Lowe this morning.

“The Emotion” is a heartfelt midtempo with a recurrent smooth guitar riff and honest lyrics about feeling numb and miserable after losing someone. The 23-year old’s eminent, smoky vocals sound as captivating as ever. “The emotion inside of me, out of me. The emotion is building up inside of me” sings BØRNS during the hook.
