Adaalat (English: Court) is an Indian television courtroom drama series about a defense attorney, K.D. Pathak, portrayed by Ronit Roy. It became an immensely popular show from the time of it's first broadcast. The first season for the show premiered on Sony on 20 November 2010 and ran for five years, ending on 11 July 2015. The series is produced by Contiloe Entertainment and stars Ronit Roy in the eponymous role. The show aired 431 episodes in its first season, becoming one of the favorite TV shows amongst the viewers.

Adaalat returned for a second season on Sony on 4 June 2016. Ronit Roy reprised his role as K.D. Pathak. Recurrences of other previously known characters are rumored.
